We are days away from the start of the implementation of the training course “Stoic Principles in Modern Entrepreneurship” in #Krushevo that from the 23rd to 30th of March 2026 will bring together 26 youth workers, youth leaders and trainers from
Macedonia, 🇭🇷 Croatia,
Greece, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇱🇻 Latvia,
Serbia, 🇸🇰 Slovakia and
Turkiye.
In today’s fast-changing job market, entrepreneurial thinking is a key skill for young people. This project brings a unique approach by combining entrepreneurship with Stoic philosophy in order to help youth workers to develop resilience, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making.
Through interactive sessions, participants will explore youth unemployment, learn practical entrepreneurial skills, and discover how Stoic principles can support both personal and professional growth. Inspired also by “Why Nations Fail”, they will reflect on how systems shape opportunities and how youth work can respond.
The training will focus on hands-on learning, collaboration, and real-life application, culminating in the creation of a Toolbox of non-formal learning methods that can be used across Europe.
At the same time, the training course will facilitate the exchange of good practices, methodological approaches and resources for youth work, communication and facilitation between the participants and organisations. In this way the project will provide opportunity for networking and partnership-building, fostering future cooperation and improvement of quality of youth work.
More than just a training, it will be an opportunity and space for connection, growth, and new ideas – empowering youth workers to better support young people in navigating uncertainty with confidence and purpose.
The main aim of the project is to improve the competencies and quality of the youth work of 24 youth workers to combat youth unemployment through entrepreneurship education and Stoic philosophy.
Stay tuned 🚀
